Potenza has opened for lunch and dinner Monday, February 8th.
Special Valentine's Day Menu announced.
Check the bakery menu for daily lunch specials!

Born in southern Italy, Columbina Potenza, grandmother of Stir Food Group founder Dan Mesches, instilled a passion for preparing food simply and with all natural ingredients. Executive chef Bryan Moscatello and staff have gone out into the world hand picking from the treasure trove of available ingredients to create an extensive menu of rustic Italian dishes.
Prepare yourself for a place steeped in tradition, comfort and warmth. Located in the historic Woodward Building, architectural details are preserved, incorporated into a space that houses an active open kitchen. It's a feeling of old world detail that you might expect to find in Foggia, Italy.
An in house bakery prepares breads, pastas and desserts daily alongside a salumi counter and raw bar to allow for a more cosmopolitan experience when time is of the essence. A 6000 pound pizza oven has been installed alongside the extensive main line to offer a robust and dynamic menu.
The combination of old world charm and exquisite dining draws you into the surroundings and energy of the inviting room, the unique food and the matchless service.
With the announcement of Potenza, The Malrite Company and Stir Food Group, following successful and highly acclaimed initiatives at Zola and Zola Wine and Kitchen, are pleased to continue breaking new ground in the development of bold pioneering dining concepts for the thriving Washington DC restaurant community.
